I'm Going Southbound...
From the ashes of the Empress Ale House rises Southbound Brewing. Located in Edmonton's Hazeldean neighbourhood, Southbound offers a diverse range of brews in a friendly and casual atmosphere. Join us seven days a week for quality beer, special events, and a lovely patio (when weather permits).

What's on Tap
We're a small tap brewery and our selection updates often. Our Blonde Ale is a mainstay and we'll have a selection of seasonals along with an IPA or two, something dark, and something different. For our friends that don't like beer, we have some cider, ready-to-drink cocktails, and something non-alcoholic in cans.
What Else You Should Know:
- We're dog-friendly! Well-behaved dogs that stay on their lead are welcome.
- We're pedal-friendly! We have several bike racks out front. Well-behaved cyclists are also welcome.
- We do not have a kitchen but you are welcome to bring in or order in food. We do have some small snacks available.
- We accept cash, Visa, and Mastercard.
- We have some board games, some pub games, and a little free library.
Southbound Brewing is an accessible and inclusive space.
Southbound Brewing operates on Treaty Six territory, the traditional and ancestral territory of the Cree, Saulteaux, Nakota Sioux, Blackfoot, and Dene Peoples, and the homeland of the Métis Nation. We recognize the enduring presence and contributions of Indigenous peoples in this region and are committed to moving forward in a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration.
